So reihen sich Frankfurts Hochhäuser ein, stünden sie in Los Angeles
Fremde Welten einmal vereinigt. Die beiden Städte dürften kaum etwas gemeinsam haben.
Aus einsichtigen Gründen ist die Skyline von Kaliforniens Life-Style-Metropole aber sehr
bekannt. Das höchste Haus in der Mitte - der Library
Tower - setzt dem verblüffend kleinflächigen Central-Business-Disctrict die
bekannte, nachts erleuchtete Krone auf. Es wäre übrigens der einzige, der in Frankfurt
deutlich herausragte, wenngleich LA's Skyline ca. das dreifache Volumen von Frankfurt
erreicht.
Unfamiliar worlds once combined. The two cities might have nothing in
common. For obvious reasons the skyline of California's life style metropolis is
well-known. The highest building is the Library Tower.
To the center, an astonishing undersized Central Business Disctrict, it sets up the
well-known nightly illuminated crown. By the way, it would be the only building which
clearly stood out in Frankfurt, although LA's skyline achieves approximately three times
the volume of Frankfurt.
